Anissa Ford (Class of 2013)
Works as the Education Director at the Gadsden Arts Center where she enjoys the flexibility of working in a small art organization. One of her accomplishments this year included receiving a major grant from the Florida Humanities Council from the proposal that she wrote for the upcoming Vernacular Art exhibition. In September 2016, Ford sat on a panel at the Florida Association of Museums Conference in Pensacola titled “Small Museum Accreditation,” which discussed Gadsden Arts’ recent accreditation experience and ways small museums can work towards AAM accreditation.
