FSU Art Therapy Association – Silent Auction at Black Dog Cafe

Published January 29, 2018

The FSU Art Therapy Student Association (FSU-ATA) invites you to attend a silent auction at Black Dog Cafe at Railroad Square, which will take place on February 2, 2018, during First Friday, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Items to be auctioned will include student artwork and local community gifts for items, food, and experiences.  Most of the student artists will be in attendance, and bidding will start at unbelievably affordable prices.  Proceeds will go toward the FSU ATA organization, which volunteers in community outreach events as a way to interact with the community, provide art therapy services, support FSU art therapy students to go to the annual American Art Therapy Association conference, and build awareness for the art therapy field.

This event will run concurrently with the Annual Florida Art Therapy Association Symposium that will be happening in Tallahassee on the the same weekend.  This event will include an art exhibit, workshops, and interactions with the Florida State Legislators to advocate for licensure regulation of the art therapy profession in Florida.
