NAEA Meeting and Social

Published September 23, 2018

The Florida State University Chapter of the National Art Education Association is excited to announce that we are combining our meetings with social events during the Fall semester. Our goal is to provide NAEA members with more opportunities for professional development, informal networking with local art teachers, and support for our pre-service art education interns.

Our first meeting is this Monday, September 24th from 6-7:30PM in Jess Barthle’s art classroom at Rickards High School. Jess graduated from Florida State’s MA in Art Education program last Spring and is now in her first year of teaching! She is graciously hosting us for a screen printing party and a meet and greet with local art teachers. We are providing the screen printing equipment and black ink, but please bring your own items (T-shirt, apron, tote bag, etc.) to print!

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by contacting our NAEA Secretary, Deb Gerardi, at dkg17b@my.fsu.edu so we may provide additional information about parking and directions to the classroom. We also encourage you to forward this message to any art teachers you would like to invite!
