Reclaiming the Newstand: Closing Reception and Workshop!

The departments invites all to attend a closing reception celebrating the exhibition Reclaiming the Newsstand this Friday, September 28th from 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the William Johnson Building Gallery. Light refreshments will be served in celebration of the exhibition and its artists.

Additionally, a workshop with exhibiting artist Olan Quattro will be held Saturday September 29th from 9:00am to 12:00pm in room 3003 of the William Johnson Building. The event is free of charge and offers an exceptional opportunity for professional development.  Quattro is a Florida State University alum who has been living in Washington D.C. for the past year, creating art in reflection of her surroundings on Capitol Hill.  Attend the workshop to learn more about Quattro’s work as an art educator in a social justice and Sheridan school while engaging in the collage process of the artist!
