Holy Comforter Episcopal School in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking to employ a full-time art teacher for preschool, elementary and middle school classes. The preschool and elementary art programs are designed to build confidence and encourage creative thinking through a variety of media and activities. The multi-media curriculum develops an understanding of each of the basic elements and principles of art. “Art Masters” is an important component of the program and provides an opportunity for students to develop an appreciation for the artistic works and styles of selected artists throughout history. The middle school art program is focused on the creation of 3D products. Students in the 3D art elective have the opportunity to explore various three-dimensional media and art forms in areas such as sculpture, ceramics, jewelry-making, and fiber arts.
