Each year, FSU Art Therapy faculty and members of the FSU Art Therapy Association (FSU ATA) attend the American Art Therapy Association’s (AATA) annual conference.
This year marks the 47th anniversary of the AATA Conference, which will be held July 6-10, 2016. Its theme, Art Therapy: Integrating Creativity, Healing & Professionalism, will showcase the art therapist’s role within the greater health community, our creative roots, and how beneficial the art process is.
In an effort to help students attend the conference, FSU ATA has organized a Silent Auction, which will be held from 6-8pm at the Black Dog Cafe on Railroad Square. All are invited to attend. Those attending must stay throughout the entire auction in order to claim their bundle at the end. Attendees that decide not to bid are encouraged to leave a donation.
Auctioned off will be bundles comprised of FSU student’s artwork, FSU ATA merchandise, and a donation from a local vendor.
The following are participating local businesses: Black Dog Cafe, Red Elephant Pizza & Grill, Bella Bella, Quarter Moon Imports, Madison Social, Nails La La, and PAWS Pet Boutique.
