For June’s First Friday, students from the FSU Art Therapy Association (FSU ATA) created 2 chalkboard carnival face boards and invited visitors to COME DRAW! It was a big hit – if you were not able to attend, we missed you! Check out a few of the creative people, creatures, and beasts below!
FSU ATA students have been leading community art directives at Tallahassee’s Railroad Square on First Fridays. Each month, students initiate a new art directive and visitors to Railroad Square participate. Artwork and merchandise by FSU ATA are also on display.
The Art Therapy Association would also like to give a big thanks to Art Education Professor Sara Scott Shields and her husband Tim Shields for helping to cut the lumber for the chalkboard signs! We could not have relied on a more professional couple!
