Spring Break Hiatus

Published March 10, 2017

The FSU Department of Art Education would like to wish students, faculty, staff, and alumni a safe and happy spring break! May you return to classes well-rested and rejuvenated to continue and finish the spring semester.

Over the course of spring break, which spans from March 13th to the 17th, 2017, the department will not post any blogs and on social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin.

Instead, members of the department will be working on the Spring 2017 Community Mural Project. The Department invites you to participate and leave your mark on the Tallahassee community by volunteering between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the South side of GrassLands Brewing Company from March 11th to the 29th, 2017. The mural project is open to the public, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate!

The FSU Department of Art Education will resume on March 20th, 2017, with more blogs and encourages you to follow the department during the rest of the spring 2017 semester. Remember to send any relevant departmental news about personal awards and achievements, research, visiting scholars, upcoming events, recaps of events, and internship and employment opportunities to the Department’s social media team at fsuart4life@gmail.com. These may be featured on the department’s website and social media accounts during the rest of the spring semester!

The Department appreciates your continued support and looks forward to engaging with its followers after spring break!
