Tracy Councill’s Art Therapy Workshop

Tracy Councill is a native of Boone, NC, and a longtime resident of the Washington, DC area.  She received her MA in Art Therapy from The George Washington University in 1988. After working with adolescents and adults in psychiatric settings, Ms. Councill started the Art Therapy Program in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital in 1991. On June 26, 2015, Tracy Councill shared her views on Art Therapy at the William Johnson Building and how its therapeutic approaches can help treat patients ranging from young children to adolescents.
