FSU Art Education Professors and Incoming Student Present at International Conference on the Arts in Society

Published June 28, 2021

Dr. Ann Rowson Love (Associate Professor in the Museum Education and Visitor-Centered Curation Program) and Dr. Jeff Broome (Associate Professor in the Art Education Program) recently delivered presentations at the International Conference in the Arts in Society.

The conference, initially scheduled at the University of Western Australia, offered virtual options this year as well as its usual forum for developing ideas that connect the arts to their contexts in the world – on stage, in studios and theaters, in classrooms, in museums and galleries, on the streets and in communities. Dr. Rowson Love’s session was co-presented with Deborah Randolph and incoming FSU doctoral student, Kara Fedje, and featured content related to arts based research. Dr. Broome presented on the use of narrative inquiry methods in art education.

Next year, the 2022 International Conference on The Arts in Society will be held at San Jorge University, Caserón de San Voto, Zaragoza, Spain, on June 15th and 17th.
