Thank you for considering FSU’s Department of Art Education! We are excited you want to learn more about our program. We have tried to make the admissions process as easy as possible. Each of our graduate degrees and pathways have different application requirements, deadlines, and specifications, so please be sure you check the appropriate option below.

Art Therapy ONLY accepts applications for the FALL semester and is NOT offered as an online program.

Each program makes all admissions decisions after the application deadlines. If at any point in the process you need something clarified or have a question, please don’t hesitate to contact our admissions officer, Vicki Barr, and she’ll be more than happy to help.

Please note: The GRE waiver will continue for most master’s and specialist programs through 2026
