The Department invites artists to submit artwork to the FSU Counseling Center’s Creating Wellness: Expressing Ourselves through the Arts, an exhibition of student artwork focusing on themes of emotional wellness and mental health. The entry deadline is on August 27th, 2018, by 5:00pm.
Entry Requirements: The exhibition is open to all currently enrolled Florida State University students. Artists may submit 2d, 3d, video, or performance-based artwork related to emotional wellness and mental health. Artists are encouraged to interpret emotional wellness and mental health as they see fit. There are no entry fees and no limits on number of submissions. The exhibition committee will review artwork to ensure images are appropriate for display in a university counseling center, so please be thoughtful as you prepare your submissions.
Submit images or videos of artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org. Image files must be in JPEG format (file extension .jpg or .jpeg) 72 ppi and each entry must be labeled with the artist’s first and last name. If you submit more than entry, please include a number at the end of your name for each image (ie JaneSmith1.jpg, JaneSmith2.jpg). File size for each image must be less than 5 megabytes and 1800 pixels on the longest side.
Acceptance: If artwork is accepted into the exhibition, you will need to submit pieces to the University Counseling Center by Friday, August, 31st at 5pm. 2d work must be ready to hang (must be matted and framed if appropriate, and include hanging apparatus on the back of the piece).
