FSU NAEA Student Chapter Art Show – Opening Reception

Published February 5, 2018

The Department of Art Education invites you to join the FSU National Art Education Association (NAEA) Student Chapter for the opening reception of the FSU NAEA Student Chapter Art Exhibition!
Founded in 1947, the National Art Education Association is the leading professional membership organization exclusively for visual arts educators. Members include elementary, middle, and high school visual arts educators; college and university professors; university students preparing to be art educators; researchers and scholars; teaching artists; administrators and supervisors; and art museum educators—as well as more than 47,000 students who are members of the National Art Honor Society.
The purpose of the FSU NAEA Student Chapter is to promote the field of visual arts education through solidifying bridges of cooperative partnership within FSU’s College of Visual Arts, Theatre, & Dance, externally with other FSU academic departments, as well as with public and private entities within our local community. The exhibition features work from members of the FSU NAEA Student Chapter in the art education department and will be open to the public from February 9th, 2018. to March 2nd, 2018, the Oglesby Art Gallery hours being 10:00am to 9:00pm from Monday to Friday.
The opening reception for the FSU NAEA Student Chapter Art Exhibition will take place on Friday, February 9th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
We believe it is important to recognize that art educators are also artists in their own right, and we are proud to share this work with you.
