Operation Paper-Making Workshop

The Department’s Art Therapy program, in collaboration with the FSU Student Veteran Centeris hosting an a workshop titled “Operation Paper-Making.”

During the event, attendees will be provided with the opportunity to create paper and explore other paper-making activities and even a group collaborative installation.

The mission statement for the event is as follows:

Collaboration between the FSU Art Therapy Graduate Program and the FSU Student Veterans Center will provide arts-based workshops designed to promote personal expression through paper-making. Through the paper-making process, student veterans can use their uniforms worn in service as well as pieces of provided fabric to create personally significant art. We strive to create a safe and affirming climate where students can feel comfortable exploring identity and participating in social events.

The workshop will take place in the William Johnston Building, Room 3002 and 3003, on Saturday, April 14th, from 9:00am. to 3:00pm and is free to all those interested in attending!
