Jennie Christensen

Originally from Orem, Utah, Jennie moved to Tallahassee in 2016. Prior to her current position, she worked as an undergraduate Academic Advisor for FSU’s College of Social Sciences & Public Policy, as Financial Analyst for the State of Florida, and an Academic Aid in FSU’s Office of Undergraduate Studies. Jennie was nominated for the Provost’s “Outstanding Undergraduate Advising” Award for 2024 and 2025. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for students and making sure that they leave her office in a better state than they entered.
During her free time, Jennie enjoys reading a good book, working in her garden, and spending time with her spouse and three cats, Sophia, Luna, and Agnes.

- Assist with academic advising and student orientation
- Assist with academic advising for students admitted into Combined Pathways and certificate programs
- Provide inquiry information for prospective students
- Complete other administrative tasks
